What is The Confident Caregiver Method?

In this article series all about careviging, I covered 5 things you never knew about caregiving, elaborated on my own experiences as a caregiver in the article called “So why am I interested in caregiving?” and highlighted the 3 top areas of concern for caregivers to look out for.

We also saw how the right support can help you as a caregiver.

Last but not least, I want to introduce you to The Confident Caregiver Method.

Being a family caregiver is a lot of work.

Even when you’re 100% emotionally committed to it, it can wear on you.

It’s very common to struggle with providing a high level of care and comfort, but still have time (and energy) left over to live your own life. It’s so important that you have the rest and resources you need to support you BOTH if you want your caregiving plan to be viable.

The problem is that as soon as you feel like your caregiving plan is perfect, life throws you a curveball and things have to shift.

Suddenly, you aren’t sure of your next step or where to turn.

Confidence morphs quickly into confusion and chaos. You don’t have time to do the research and your loved one doesn’t want anyone but you to help.

This is where my Confident Caregiver Method comes into play.

Together, we’ll sort out your priorities and create action steps you can begin to implement right away.

We’ll experiment with options to find what works for you.

You worry that no one can offer the same level of care as you. Clients find that by adding a little help, both you and your loved one benefit. Getting relief and perhaps learning some easier and safer techniques saves you time and energy.

Your loved one has the opportunity to meet someone new and increase their social interactions. Many caregivers have found this improves the quality of their lives.

By working through and implementing my Confident Caregiver Method, you’ll finally be able to reclaim your own sense of rest and balance, which will make it so much easier for you to provide the level of care you want (and your family needs).

Plus, with the support you’ll find in our community, you’ll finally feel like you’re no longer alone, which can make a huge difference.
